Just spent a wonderful night here with the family - 4th floor Pirate room. Lots of things to love that many others have mentioned but here's a few constructive feedbacks - 1. Consider including a themed nightlight in the bunk bed area, especially since the hotel caters to families with younger kids and can get dark in the rooms. 2. We loved the complimentary gifts (lego sets, magazines, waters & juice) BUT maybe not 3 ENTIRE bags of gummy bears because not all kids (and their parental units) have the willpower to hold off consuming all of it immediately. 3. I have to admit that the welcome treasure hunt was a bit tricky, even though I'm usually good at escape rooms... luckily the text messaging service was very quick to provide a hint!

A nice (but expensive) add on to our Legoland visit. We traveled from Texas and had a wonderful time! The themed room was amazing and my son loved all the activities at the hotel. We were disappointed in the dinner food, but breakfast was decent. The free class with the Master Builder was difficult to fit into our schedule, as they fill up so fast! We were there just 2 hours after check-in and the next day was already booked. I paid for the longer class, which ended up being too easy for my 11-year old. I did *not* like that there was a bible in my room; that's a bold assumption to make for all guests & a practice that should be discontinued. The staff was very helpful and it was fun to walk around and see all the Lego pieces.

I truly can’t say enough good about this hotel. I was unsure about staying here because it is a little more expensive than staying off site. I decided to just go for it and I can honestly say it was worth every penny. The hotel is walking distance to the park which is a huge perk with young kids. Everything is fun and colorful making it appealing to kids (and even adults). You are immediately excited about your arrival pulling up because of the amazing Lego display entrance. It is mind blowing what can be built from Lego’s! Upon pulling up the staff was incredibly helpful offering help with bags and tips to make the experience just a little bit more magical. I won’t ruin the surprise but even the elevator has fun elements to it (tip: clap your hands for added fun in the elevator). All the staff was so wonderful, kind, helpful and going above and beyond for everyone. They have fun activities in the lobby- crafts, a scavenger hunt (with an extra special treat for completing) and even being able to hunt for Mr. Gold. Even when my son was being a bit shy to ask the staff was so great at interacting with him. Of course tons of legos for building and playing in the lobby and a giant castle for playing. Somehow with all the kids and legos they were able to keep the area maintained and clean- and impossible job I’m sure! All around the hotel are life size figures completely MADE OF LEGOS. We stayed in a pirate theme room and it was BEYOND cool. I loved the three layered bunk bed. Even the carpet was pirate theme. Inside the room they have another treasure hunt where you answer a couple questions to get numbers to unlock the safe- inside the safe is a fun surprise for each of your kids. They also provide a juice box for each kid and water bottle for each adult. I thought this was a very sweet touch. On the tv in the kids room, it looked like a live feed of the hotel hallway and Lego pirates walking around. The kids LOVED it and wanted to watch it. They provided easy access to all the Lego movies on the tv as well. We were sure to check out all the floors to seethe fun ninja, friends and kingdom themes as well. The lobby also plays lots of fun, upbeat and kid friendly music but it is very quiet in the rooms (and I’m a very light sleeper). In addition, there is a number you can text “the wizard” that can help solve any issues- such as bringing more pillows. They give you fun wizard responses too. I thought it was really cool that the elevators would not move unless you scanned your room card key too because it kept kids from running off on their own. Unfortunately, we came on off-season so the pool was not open but we looked outside and it looks so much fun. They have fire pits that can be used and s'more supplies that can be purchased. Lego truly thought of everything. Everything throughout the hotel and room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was nothing to write home to- a standard hotel continental breakfast but served family style which is nice with multiple kids. Tater tots, breakfast meats, toast, cereal, fruit, eggs etc. you can get some other fun things like funfetti pancakes for an up charge. They didn’t forget about adults and have yummy specialty coffee and even cocktails (mimosas and a “special” coffee!!!) I would stay here again without hesitation. I want to reiterate again the staff was absolutely AMAZING. Every single person we interacted with TLDR: STAY HERE!!! It is worth every single penny.

The pros: #1 thing is proximity to the park and the Lego touches. The theming is cute! We were in a “pirate” room. Our kiddo loved the in room scavenger hunt to find the “treasure” (free Legos to take home!). We also loved the separation between the kids’ bunkbeds and the king bed. Room was clean and we got new tools each day. The pool is nice. You can walk right in with your littles or go into the deeper end with old kids. We had no issue getting chairs to lay our stuff on and dry off. The play area in the lobby was a lifesaver since the park closes at 6pm. The cons: Food is absolutely awful. On par with basic hotel buffet food. $28 for pasta with a protein? Yep. Oh and the pasta sauce—too spicy for the little ones. For breakfast, things like pancakes and waffles are not included. It’s an upcharge. Also you need to make a reservation which isn’t always the easiest thing to plan on a family vacation. You are better off dining in Goshen.

If you're taking your kids to Legoland NY, then the hotel would give you an experience of its own. You could save a lot of money by going to a nearby hotel and having a regular hotel experience. The Legoland hotel is much more expensive than all those other ones but you do get a completely different experience. Firstly everything is very themed and elevators have disco music and a disco lights for a disco party every time you're in one. The pool is mainly an average Pole and they do have a lot of floating Lego blocks to play and build with while you're there. They have an outside area with brightly colored Lego themed chairs and fire pits. The lobby has a huge Lego theme Castle with Lego pits all around it and it's total pandemonium almost any time of day there with kids running around with foam swords and shields they get from the park or the hotel store. Now when I say it's chaos I really do mean that. It's like the busiest Saturday at Chucky cheese if every kid just had one of those huge pixie sticks full of sugar. It's crazy. They also have a large area with a pit full of Legos to build along with a display wall that the kids can display their creations and a whole wall of mini figures ...probably about 10,000 behind glass that you can look at and they also have a store and Brick's restaurant. There is also a small arcade and somewhere a pizzas shop as well. I didn't get pizza so I'm not sure where it was at. The rooms are heavily theme. We stayed in a friend's room as that's what my daughter wanted. It was very cute. Had a lot of Lego decorations on the wall and a bunk bed for the kids as well as a Lego building area. The TV and the kids area also shows a loop of little Lego guys running around the hotel on a security camera which I think was pretty cute. The bed was very comfortable and I have no complaints. They give you enough blankets the AC worked great and it was also very clean. One of the most impressive things I saw was that they give you a handheld shower sprayer in the bathroom. I guess this is due to the fact that a lot of little kids are there and makes it easier to bathe kids, but I loved having a shower sprayer with adjustable spray patterns. The only negative I could say to the whole hotel was that is quite expensive and the bathroom did not have any kind of a ventilation fan. I don't know if it was supposed to and was just not working or if it just doesn't. I would say the biggest negative is that from the hotel you still have to walk down to the main entrance with everyone else when they could easily erect a footbridge from the hotel down to the main entrance to make it easier for hotel patrons. If I were to ever go again I would probably stay at this hotel again just to give the kids the experience. Lots to do there for the kids.

Overall experience was good for a family. Hotel was clean for constantly having small children run around. Food was pricey and subpar for dinner with a limited menu. Breakfast was good, eggs, meat and tater tots and included with the stay. Also had complementary cereal, toast and fruit. Play area was a good spot to hang, meet other parents and let the kids run around. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Would recommend.

The hotel is right next to the amusement park. My kids enjoyed their night there. They have a huge castle and many Lego bins where kids can play in the morning and evening. They don’t offer free Lego workshops in the morning—only in the afternoon. We didn’t know, so we missed it. There is a restaurant, but the food is not very good and somewhat overpriced. You can have a drink while the kids are playing in the castle, which is pretty cool. The rooms have amazing sheets—I loved them. They also have a Lego bin in the rooms where kids can keep building their creations. Overall, it was nice, but we spent way too much for just one night.

This is a great hotel! There's tons of little details everywhere, and Lego builds across the hotel and in the rooms, too. There is a play area for the kids in the lobby, a pool outside, and music plays in the elevator while a disco ball spins. So, there is plenty of entertainment for kids. The rooms are clean and well decorated, and have a safe you can open via a scavenger hunt that contains mini Lego sets. If you are going to Legoland for more than a day, make sure you stay here. Highly recommended!
